In this recent article out of Atlanta you can see the consequences of not keeping good training and training records.  The same can be said of field training.   Standardizing your program and keeping good documentation is essential to keeping bad guys off the street.   We hope to review a few software options in the future to give you a good comparison of what’s out there to help with the paperwork process.

 

 

Synopsis:

  • 5 months long
  • Each recruit must have 75 Recruit Officer Performance Evaluations (another word for Daily Observation Form).  They are reviewed weekly and then monthly.
  • Recruit may be extended for a month.
  • 69 Tasks that must be completed.
  • 5 Phases
  • Based on the San Jose Model
